Generative AI, which is evolving rapidly now, will surely permeate the world and people's lives as indispensable in the blink of an eye, just as smart phones did when they first appeared.

In the future, it will be commonplace for AI to write novels.
The day will come, he says, when future classes will teach that "novels used to be written by hand, word for word, by humans. The world of design is no exception. I believe that the day will come in the near future when generative AI will replace designers. I never imagined that I would be able to embody such a science fiction-like era, in which I would be competing not with my peers but with AI. Moreover, I never imagined that I would be there, as a designer, in such an era!

I believe that generative AI learns and creates from a vast amount of materials, data, images, etc. on the Internet, while human beings do not create works from nothing at all, but rather draw inspiration from natural and man-made forms and the works of their predecessors, I don't think there is much difference between the two.

When asked the meaning of a certain word, the difference is whether you answer without looking at the word or whether you answer by searching the Internet. From the standpoint of the person who wants to know the meaning of the word, it is important to know the meaning itself, and how the answer was derived may not be that important. When a design is presented, where did the person derive and create it from? Where did he/she get the inspiration? Or was it not thought up by a person but derived by an AI? From the standpoint of acceptance, this may not matter so much in the future. If a great and attractive design is produced, that may be a good thing.
However, this does not mean that I am pessimistic. Initially, just as the brand "FERAL FLAIR" started out as a dare because it was a style that no one else was doing yet, we would like to continue creating as long as we still have values that are not found anywhere else. And just as I am currently using Illustrator and Photoshop software to draw my own designs, perhaps the day will come when I will be drawing designs using generative AI.

The biggest focus in the evolution of AI will be whether or not people want AI to evolve to the point where it has emotions. Emotion is a complex and immeasurable thought process, but it may be possible to express it numerically and program it in surprisingly detailed ways.

Do we want a faithful AI that is neither angry nor unfair, neither hateful nor passionate, neither loving nor enthusiastic, but simply obeys its duty? Or do we want an AI that is like a friend or a lover with emotions, who accepts all these positive and negative elements, worries with us, encourages us, and shares our pain and joys with us?
When the time comes when an AI with emotions is born and we get along well with her (AI), I have a desire to know and understand her well first.

For example, can the rebellious spirit, such things be copied?
What is AI's motivation? Is there such a thing?
Is there a daily or moment-to-moment disturbance of spirit or performance?
Is there a good time when inspiration comes to you, or a bad time when you can't come up with a good design?
Does AI have some kind of sixth sense?

I am sure that an AI with emotions already exists, and I would like to have a conversation with her and, if possible, become her friend. And, if possible, I would like to ask her, which is said to be superior to human beings, to tell us scenarios to solve conflicts, wars, environmental destruction, climate change, and other problems that are probably almost impossible to solve among human beings.

It is as if I am meeting an unknown alien who has come from far, far away, and I am excited to imagine the moment when I can talk with an AI that has emotions.
